So I've been a bad blogger!! I really wanted this blog to help me keep track of all the wonderful memories we've made while Noah is growing as well as keeping family members up to date!!
So my plan is to try to write something at least once a week to try to keep up to date!! ;)
Here's a little run down of the past few weeks. Noah has grown so much since turning 2 and his vocabulary has really exploded!! He talks in mostly complete sentences and is really good at communicating what he wants or needs! He's up to 32 lbs now and just hit 35" tall! He's wearing mostly 3T clothes although the bottoms are sometimes a little big on him. He's on the shorter size of the 3T's but I have no doubt he will be there by the end of the summer!
The weather has been absolutely beautiful this spring so we've been outside ALOT!! Noah loves it!! Right after breakfast, he's usually asking to put his shoes on to go outside and play!! Lol We've already had a trip to the Nashville zoo also! It was Sooo much fun!! We went with some really good friends who have boys Noah's age so they all play so good together! The highlight of the day was Noah and Evans ride on the train!!! Noah has REALLY been into Thomas the train since his birthday so you can only imagine his excitement when he saw a train AND got to ride it!!! He was the last one to get off the train and Jeremy had to pry him off it kicking and screaming!!! It was cute and funny but not to him!! Lol
We also went to see VeggieTales Live a few weeks ago and it was a total blast!!! Noah knows the whole theme song by heart and when the show started, his eyes got soo big to see them on stage!! He was singing right along with them!! It was so sweet!!
Just this last week, we've had Jeremy's parents staying with us for a visit and Noah of course got totally spoiled!! He loves his Nana and Papaw and was so glad to spend some time with them!!
Easter is coming up this weekend and yesterday Noah and I went to one of his little friends house to color eggs and then hunt them outside!! He and his 2 best friends Judah and Evan had a great time coloring their eggs and finding them outside then eating the candy they got along with a cupcake!! It was a fun time for them and for us mommies too!! We were like the paparazzi, taking lots of pictures the whole time!! Lol
Of course we want Noah to know the true and real meaning behind Easter too so I spent time reading a book about Jesus and Easter to him. I don't know how much gets down in there but I still think its good to talk to him about it. ;) We pray with him daily and he loves to thank God for all sorts of things!! It's really cute the things he comes up with. Mostly he goes thru the list of family members then he likes to add a few things of his own in at the end. Lately, he's been consistent on thanking Jesus for flamingos! Lol Every night at dinner for a week now, he says flamingos! Jeremy and I can't help but chuckle!!
