A REAL Thomas Train!!

The first weekend in May, our little family took a mini vacation down to Chattanooga for an overnight trip. Since Noah is our little Thomas the Train nut, we thought we would take him to an event that has been touring the country for a few years now. It's called A Day Out With Thomas! They have an actual life size Thomas train that you can ride on, along with lots of other activities. Oh, we just thought Noah would be beside himself. And we were right!!! It was so adorable to see the excitement in his eyes and face!! I think we had just as much fun watching him enjoy everything!! What a memory for sure!! ;)
The week before we went, I found some YouTube videos of the train to help explain to him that we would be riding a REAL Thomas!! Lol He was telling everyone, even the check out lady at the grocery store about how he was going to ride a REAL Thomas train!! So cute!!
Hope you are ready for a cute picture overload!! Ha ha

Noah on our way to see Thomas!! He was Sooo cute in his little conductor hat! It's the only hat I have ever been able to keep on him for more than 4 min!! He loves it!

This was the first train we saw!! Its not Thomas but he was getting excited!!

Walking up to see Thomas!!

He's saying, "IT'S THOMAS!!"

And there he is!!

Gotta get a photo with him!

Checkin him out... ;)

Look how BIG he is compared to Noah!

Getting on our train car for the ride!! All Aboard!!

Taking it all in...

"Look daddy, theres a bridge!!"

Waiting in line to meet Sir Topham Hat! He's the railroad director. ;) I was very proud of Noah during this. He was soo excited to meet him but was also very patient while we waited....which was about 20 min!!

This was so sweet!! I actually thought he was going to be a little apprehensive about meeting him but he just walked right up to him, waved and said "HI Sir Topham Hat!" The photographer had a hard time getting a pic cuz he kept wanting to turn around and wave to him!

They had a bunch of train table to play on so of course, Noah was in heaven!! lol He loves to play trains!

Maybe will get him a train table someday...

They were doing train rides all day long while the other activities were going on so we went up to the station to watch one of the rides come back!! It was exciting!!

He just loves this picture!!! We had a keychain with it made up that we keep on his bag so we always have it! ;)

We even had a Thomas come home with us!!

And this was about 5 min later...WORE OUT!! LOL

OK so to catch up, in April, we celebrated my niece, Sophie's 1st birthday!! She is such a sweetheart and we were excited to spend the day celebrating with her! I made strawberry cupcakes for her and she loved them!! ;)
Noah was a bit jealous I think and couldn't quite understand why he needed to say happy birthday to her. I don't think he ever did actually! Lol
I think he thinks every happy birthday should be his! Oh the mind of a two year old!! Ha ha

Easter 2012!

Wow!! What an awesome weekend we had!! Such a fun filled time with family!!
My sister and her two boys are in town from Michigan and Noah is loving all the attention!! First last week when Jeremy's parents were here and now this!! He is one loved little boy!! ;)

We went to church Saturday night as a family and it was such a great sermon! I always love this time of year when we celebrate the resurrection of our savior Jesus!! He is risen and lives forevermore!!! Praise God!!

My brother and his daughter, Sophia were even with us at church and spent Easter Sunday with us too!! Sunday, we were at my parents and had a egg hunt for Noah. Sophie is still a little young to hunt eggs so Noah got the whole yard and all the eggs to himself!! Lol He had a blast hunting the eggs and then my mom had bought him a little kite. It was pretty windy that day so Jeremy and my nephews, Justin 15, and Joey 13 got it up and going!! Oh! Noah just LOVED that kite!!! He ran all across the yard following it up in the sky and yelling at it!! It was the cutest thing!!!
