Beach life for a week!

Well this past week we took our first family vacation to Daytona Beach, Florida! It was so awesome to finally get away!
We had an amazing time!! Noah was pretty apprehensive about being on the beach but each day he got more and more comfortable with it and was soon loving it and didn't want to leave!! The hotel we stayed at was right on the beach and had a nice big pool with a kiddie pool next to it. He loved both and is quite the little fish in the water! His vocabulary has been growing by leaps and bounds this week. New words he says very clearly are beach, pool, seagull, milk, ocean, juice, and even Mickey Mouse!! He had a blast every day and we love to see him be such a happy-go-lucky boy!! Life is pretty sweet in this season and we are loving being parents to such a sweet boy!
Here are some pics from our trip. Hope you enjoy!!

New bed!!

So it seams that Jeremy and I have a 2 year old about 4 months early!? What? lol Yup it looks like Noah is growing much to fast!! I know everyone always said "Oh treasure every moment because it goes so fast" but somehow I feel I am looking that phrase dead square in the eyes!
Here we are and our precious little baby is definately not a baby anymore and is now using the words "I go get it" and "You wanna watch Wiggies?" (That's what he calls the Sprout tv show The Wiggles". Crazy I know!!
Just last week we witnessed him climb out of his crib. So not wanting to take a chance that he should ever try when we weren't there and get hurt, the hunt for a toddler bed began! We finally found what we wanted but of course no store in this town would carry it in the store so we ordered it.
So, for the last week or so Noah has had a little test run with sleeping not in his crib. For fear of a possible fall, we just put his matress on the floor and much to our surprise he slept on it! All night!! I love how when he wakes in the morning he will start playing with his toys in his room and I will suddenly hear cookie monster singing on the monitor. Or sometimes he will start knocking on his door calling "Momma!! Morning!!" We put a child door knob on the inside of his room since he can open doors now. Plus it will keep him safe if he should ever get up in the middle of the night to wander the house!

Well here is a pic I took of him today during nap on his bed! Grammy bought him new sheets and he loves them!! I will post some pictures when we get his new bed!

Welcome!
